About the Event
In this introductory session targeted to beginners, critically acclaimed screenwriter Shuchi Kothari (Shit One Carries, Rann, Coffee & Allah, Firaaq), shares concrete ways in which to progress an idea into a story into a screenplay. According to her, “Good short films are an art form. They are not features shoe-horned into ten mins and they are not gags stretched beyond their own elasticity.”
This workshop is exclusive to PISA members and their teams (if you are applying to Kōpere Hou).
If you are applying to Kōpere Hou we strongly encourage you to attend this workshop! and even if you may not feel quite ready yet, it will still be valuable to attend so you continue to develop and progress your stories and hopefully have it ready in time for the next Kōpere Hou - Fresh Shorts fund.
Please get in touch if you have any questions. We'll see you there!
